Made-up word of the day: Fantabulamanimous: syn. fabulous.
Personal quote of the day: "I wear black on the outside, cuz FABULOUS is how I feel on the inside." (Wore black pants, shoes, & coat, with brilliant blue striped shirt.)
A lovely morning & afternoon spent with G. As an early birthday present, she gave me her copy of "The Artist's Way" and a gorgeous sketch book to do the morning writing exercises in. Also, a thin glass bead bracelet, which I adore. Went out for a late lunch to Chez Machin. Came back here and read the final chapter of "A Night in the Lonesome October". She left two hours late to meet Dan in Centralia. D'oh! My apologies for contributing to that situation. Wish I had some really nice chocolate to send along with G. Instead, she took some Halloween candy with her and borrowed my devil's horns head band. Sigh... It'll have to do.
Oh, and she gave me a pink (or is it peach colored?) rose. With SPARKLES. Apparently it came that way, pre-glittered. Hee!
My jukebox for most of the week was the "Annie" soundtrack. Now I'm back to listening to the "Party Monsters" soundtrack. Particularly track #4, "Money, Success, Fame, Glamour". Still can't believe it's actually Macaulay Culkin singing. Or how curiously right he looked in his Hitler get-up for this bit in the movie.
Did I mention I'm 32 now? So, what about that?
