Wow -- roquefort roqs!

I've moved on from doing fondues strictly by the recipe to experimenting with whatever cheeses look good. Got some danish blue, gouda, and muenster yesterday at Trader Joe's... damn, they have good cheese prices! Anyway -- I just tried a smidge of the danish blue -- and it's scrumptious. Note to self: I looove roquefort.

Btw: Yesterday I stopped at the Target in Mall 205 and discovered that they'll make Kodak prints of digital photos for $.20 each. Compare that to $.36 each at Walmart, which previously was the only local place I knew of that had Kodak machines. [Fujifilm just isn't as good -- too red. I prefer lively blues and greens.] ...At that price, I think Target may even have a better deal than Apple.

Finally rented "Alphaville", directed by Jean-Luc Godard. It's supposed to be french new wave surrealist sci-fi -- so I'm hopeful. Since G is out at creative job club right now, this is the moment to watch it. Can't be watching TV while she's in the room...

...Since this is media deprivation week for her -- no blogs! -- I'm going to see if I can't fill in the blogging void for a while. If nothing else, it'll be a treat for her to get to go through my ramblings when the seven days are up. :-)
