G has moved in.

Sunday night I took her out for a fancy dinner and made the official invitation. She said yes, yes, yes... Boxes have started coming over piecemeal. We're aiming at getting her entirely moved out of her old place by May 1st.

The story-for-public-consumption that M & she have agreed on is "moving out but still friends". It's the simplest way to explain things to folks "without getting into poly". My sense though, is that there's still room for dating there. ...Still, though M is supportive -- and I can't even say I know him that well -- I'm sad to be leaving him with an empty nest. Difficult decisions all around.

I love cooking dinner together. Who knew? It is a joy to be bumping elbows as we chop things and cobble together a meal.

Showed G "Free Enterprise" last night. [A follow-up to "Trekkies" last week.] Makes the geek in me squeal with glee, and my eyes get all misty... Wish the sexism factor was lower, though. Nonetheless, I recognize that there are moments in it that I've latched onto and assimilated into my personal vision of domestic bliss (between geeks). Reference the montage with "getting some fun out of life" playing on top. Highly recommended for anyone who wanted to be Captain Kirk (or in my case Darth Vader) when they grew up.
