Thanx to G, who picked up an ethernet cable and iLife '04 for me at the Mac Store yesterday. Strong possiblity, I'll have a working airport by tonight, and ability to go DSL from Confessor.

G is attending a series of workshops on art therapy this week, as part of a conference on the subject. I'll be interested in hearing about how those go...

I slept in this morning: 2am to 12:30 = ten and a half hours. Oy! I always forget just how good it feels to be in a well slept body & psyche. ...Not big on starting the day in the afternoon, though. By the time morning pages are done, here I am at 4pm. Blech.

Beautiful day today. Sat out on the back porch for breakfast, lovely warm air. Have I mentioned that G got me lamb's ear? It's like my favorite plant. She heard on freecycle that folks at the Tigard house were digging up the landscaping, and were giving some away. So, she bought a planter, and brought me one of these thangs... I'm alternately calling it "Tigard" and "Tigger". It lives out on the back porch, and is lovely to touch in the morning.

I'm thinking that I want to take a walk on the butte this afternoon. It's been forever! Maybe even seven months. ...I love all the writing that I'm doing -- but I'm beginning to feel it in my body. Exercise would do me good.

I'm only mildly weight conscious (imho). For me, the main point of exercise is just to get the blood moving. If your cardio-vascular system is pumping well, I figure everything else will pretty much take care of itself. Being crouched over a journal also crushes the lungs -- it'd be nice to get breathing healthily again, too.

Nothing really big on the calendar this month -- except for J's birthday, next Wednesday. She had plans to leave town, visit her family for all of March. Plans changed. I'm very pleased, that at our last "chatty chair" date we brainstormed a new plan for her birthday. Group dinner out -- then bowling for a select few. The bowling trip will be my gift to her. Doesn't look like I'll be in that subgroup, though. Hey, happy 31 in advance!
