Wow. It's been like a month since I last blogged. That's a sure fire way to scare away the 2.5 readers I've accumulated.

Well, here's the skinny. G and I went to Colorado for Thanksgiving. We stayed with her parents, and we did a side-trip to visit acquaintances from her highschool and college years. I've seen her college, and a bunch of her old houses. In terms of natural wonders, we visited "Cave of the Winds" in Manitou, "Garden of the Gods" by Colorado Springs, and "Craters of the Moon" in Idaho.

All in all, a good trip. About 12 days away from home. The last week before going and the first week back were (of course) somewhat consumed by the packing / unpacking process, and shutting down / getting our lives moving again.

G is back at work at PSU for real now -- though they don't quite seem to know how to make use of her time yet. Ominous foreshadowing that January might be a hellaciously stressful work binge.

Very exciting news: today G got her first actual phone call about the Artist's Way classes she'll be leading beginning in January. Eeee!

Me, I'm trying to wrangle all the odd jobs for getting life running again. I'm mostly in charge of running xmas this year -- and I intend to do a spiff-dangle job, thanks.

I've started going in to work with G, doing YL work at the PSU library. I'm beginning to get a handle on how to do traditional research. I'm very excited about this. I've been looking into the actual legal codes of Old England, Rome, and Babylonia. This should result in some kick-ass historical essays. Eee!
