Oh yeeeaaaaahhhhh.....

G suggested that I should put rabbit rabbit here. Too true!

February:
"I wish this month to balance LOTS of time with G with getting a bunch done with youthlib.com, PWCL, cleaning, and animation."

I have a fair amount of hope for succeeding in this goal. [Don't ask me to quanitify -- you know that I could...] I have a new strategy for planning that I'm all a'twitter aboot. Using a calendar that shows a week at a time and shows 15min demarcations, start by photocopying next week...

(1) Blacken all known appointments.

(2) Use a pre-agreed upon template to pencil-in where you're likely to be sleeping each night.

(3) Draw vertical lines through all the time that you're likely to be with someone else.

(4) Now circle all the windows for doing work alone at home, using the presumption that everything gets accomplished in 3 hour blocks.

(5) List all the major tasks that you want to plan work-dates for; estimate how many hours each will take.

(6) Divide each of those estimates by three, to determine how many time-windows will be needed; start penciling tasks into time blocks.

(7) Shift things around as needed. Conclude by penciling in exact times for each meeting (e.g. 1-4pm) on the calendar.

...This is meant to be a guide schedule. Naturally lots of changes and shifting around goes on during the course of the week. Still, so far it seems to be wildly useful.
You would think that I ceased to exist. Not so!

Here I am. The trick is that there's so much other good stuff to be a-doin'. Writingwise, I've got mindwalk, morning pages, and YL morning pages. Not to mention the big long essays for Generator, which are just getting into motion again.

I am in bliss. All I want is to spend all my time with G. What do you suppose the chances are that this will go down as one of the happiest periods of my life?

Just to spend the afternoon in the same room; her doing email on Confessor, me experimenting with little models for animation. A glance from her eyes. A kiss on the back of the neck. I stay up too late (well, really I get up too early -- 7am to do morning pages), and the tiredness detracts sometimes... Being worn out makes experiences that would be tickling my heart a bit more numb. But even so: bliss.

I am in love with morning pages. Writing 3 pages of stream-of-consciousness every morning at 7am leaves my brain clean and empty. Makes it feel like I'm living, not stuck in my little pock-mark in the ground. Empty the brain, move forward.

I am in love with animation. I finally purchased myself a digital camera, and I'm fulfilling my childhood dream of making little 3D animated clips. Just created my first flipbook on Friday, scanned it in, and made a quicktime movie. It took 97 illustrations to do about nine and a half seconds. But it only took about 3 hours to make -- god, I love the miracles of modern technology!

I am in love with G. I am in love with morning pages. I am in love with animation.

Let it be, let this be, I am happy.
